Here is someone who values their privacy. That's a nice fence! Well, you can try to block them out, but you'll have to live in a whiter neighborhood to really get your privacy. You see, even though this stretch of Market St. is zoned C-35 (no billboards), the law of the marketplace rules. One huge corporation's freedom is obviously much more important then the collective freedoms of everyone else. And though white and black drinking habits are about the same, you are 3 times more likely to find an alcohol billboard in a black neighborhood. |
